CANCELLATION PENALTIES

Hotel Package Cancellation
For most hotels, a $100 charge per person will apply if the cancellation is made 45 days prior to departure. If cancellation is made 31-44 days prior to departure then a charge equal to 50% of package price will apply. If cancellation is made 30 days or less prior to departure then a charge equal to 100% of package price will apply. If final payment is not received 45 days prior to departure then Vacation Express has the right to cancel your reservation without refund of any deposits. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Vacation Express currently sells hotels that are non-refundable as indicated on our website and/or as advised by Vacation Express. These hotels cannot be refunded if canceled after they have been booked. If you wish to purchase insurance for packages that include non-refundable rates, the only available plan from Vacation Express is the Travel Insurance Plan.

Charter Air/Charter Packages Cancellations
If cancellation is made 45 days prior to departure then a $100 per person charge will apply. If cancellation is made 44-31 days prior to departure then a charge equal to 50% of the package price will apply. Any cancellation made 30 days or less prior to departure will be 100% non-refundable. If full payment is not received 45 days prior to departure, Vacation Express has the right to cancel your reservation without refund of any deposits.

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance due to Medical Coverage ( your policy will not cover you in a foreign country) and the vendor's cancellation policies. This is to confirm that you are aware of the cancellation penalties as described above on this page and that travel insurance is available for purchase to protect against cancellation penalties due to unforeseen MEDICAL reasons.

DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS

The deposit is $100 per person or $200 per couple. The deposit will be processed for the minimum amount required to secure the booking unless otherwise indicated by the traveler. If you elect the travel insurance, that will also be paid. So, the total would be $419 per couple for deposit with travel insurance. Naturally, you can give your agent a call with any question.
